Round Up: Final Match and Tournaments

A fantastic effort from the boys against Oxford City in a double-header of games, winning three games comfortably and losing the other by a single goal. This was followed up by a squad of eight topping their group at the Chesterton six-a-side with four wins from five games and only one goal conceded.

Today, at the Tower Hill tournament we acquitted ourselves extremely well against some very strong teams (Bure Park, Didcot, Carterton, Tower Hill Stars and Stanford) and performed very creditably in both groups. Victories against Tower Hill Stars and Stanford and excellent draws against Bure Park and Didcot should give us much to be proud of.

We can look forward to the Charlbury Tournament in good heart and with confidence.
